Stephen Kelleher Architects, Inc. presented a proposal for the new
Mattapoisett Central Fire Station. This 10,000sf fire
station was designed in the New England shingle style to fit
in with the surrounding town. The proposal is designed to be
expanded from 3 bays to 5 bays to allow for the growth of
the town. Stephen Kelleher Architects, Inc. devised a truss system
that would allow 1/3rd more space within the building while
only costing about 1% more in overall costs.
